Hi! I'm coach Hayden! It's great to meet you, and thank you for checking out Hill Pursuit, a company I started so that I could help competitive athletes meet their goals. I have certification as a USAT Level 1 Coach, NSCA Strength and Conditioning Coach and Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator, ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist, and I'm a triathlete with a Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology. It's simply a long way of saying I LIVE in this world every single day, and absolutely love helping others! Currently, I love training in endurance sport, while supplementing with strength training. I've completed 2 full Ironman distance triathlons, 6 half Ironman distance triathlons, and 7 full marathons. I've coached multiple Ironman and Half-Ironman World Championship qualifiers, 100k and 100-mile ultra runners, 250-mile ultra runners, first-time marathon and Ironman athletes, as well as beginners wanting to get off the couch and make healthy choices! I believe every athlete must supplement endurance sport with resistance training, so not only do I approach it with personal ferocity, but I encourage all of my athletes to aggressively resistance train when appropriate, under an intelligent design. I specialize in both long and short course triathlon programming, marathon prep, weight loss, strength and conditioning, tactical athletes, and beginner/general exercisers.
